AM 500 - Advanced Clear Aligner Therapy for Treating Orthodontic Cases

Description

  • By the end of the course, the participant will understand the diagnosis and appropriate treatment plan for orthodontic cases utilizing sequential clear aligner therapy for the following situations:
                                                           1. Class I and II malocclusions for both adults and teenagers
                                                           2. Deep bite cases
                                                           3. Open bite cases
                                                           4. Extraction cases
                                                           5. Appropriate use of Carriere Motion Appliance, power mechanics, aligner mandibular                                                                       advancing appliance
                                                           6. Problem-solving finishing cases
                                                           7. Retention​​
  • By the end of the course, the participant will understand the bio-force similarities between the traditional multi-bracket and sequential clear aligner systems.
  • By the end of the course, the participant will understand the versatility of the Itero Element Scanner for case submission and progress assessment at any treatment stage.
  • By the end of the course, the participant will understand those cases that are appropriate for sequential clear aligner therapy and those for traditional multi-bracket technique.
it is recommended that the participant complete courses AC102, AC103/4, and C301 to facilitate understanding the course material, thus following the advice of Dr. Steven Seaman, internationally recognized aligner clinician and lecturer: “If you are not experienced at using brackets and wires, as some of our general dentists find, you will have trouble treating to a high standard with Invisalign.”
