      Dr. Bergersen taught at Northwestern University Dental School for 25 years, has published numerous articles and has given over 200 seminars on orthodontic techniques and holds over 75 US and foreign patents dealing with various orthodontic appliances.  Dr. Bergersen is best known for inventing various orthodontic appliances to prevent and correct orthodontic problems for young children.
