T347/2 - TMJ Therapy Advanced
Description
This course will begin with a review of the introductory course (T347/1) and will demonstrate:
- The use of the head pain and temporomandibular joint examination form
- Interpretation of x-rays, tomograms and MRI
- The use of sonography, electromyography and jaw tracking and how they relate to the TMD patient.
Treatment guidelines for determining splint position will be covered in detail. Ancillary treatment modalities as well as finishing techniques will also be discussed.
