AM402 – Biomechanics in every day Orthodontics

In this course, fundamental principles that a practitioner must understand and utilize to achieve predictable results will be emphasized. The first principle to be discussed will be that of vertical control. Upon completion of this course, the clinician will understand why vertical control is the most important aspect of orthodontic mechanics. The second principle to be discussed will be why an understanding of forces, moments, couples, and equilibrium is important if predictable treatment results are to be achieved.
