F349-FUNCTIONALS / TMJ

Description:

Course consist of review of previous seminars related to early orthodontic treatment.  Emphasis is placed on the management of the more advanced orthopedic/functional appliances.  Time is spent on the cephalometric analyses  that are useful in orthopedic treatment.  Doctors are instructed in the diagnosis and treatment of TMD in children and young adults.

OBJECTIVE:

Upon completion of this course the doctor will be able to diagnose and treatment plan the more complicated malocclusions that are best treated by early therapy.
