Description:
At the end of this course the participant will be able to describe, prescribe
and/or carry out periodontal, restorative, surgical or orthodontic procedures
related to:
- Esthetic finishing at the maxillary mid-line
- Closing the maxillary midline diastema
- Frenectomy
- Clinical ankalosis
- Management of the high labially impacted (ectopically erupting)
- Maxillary cuspid management of the palatally impacted cuspid
- Periodontal surgical crown extension techniques
- Orthodontic extrusion
- Orthodontic eruption of the individual teeth
- Intrusion
- Orthodontic treatment of molars with periodontal bone loss in the
furcation
- Occlusal attrition and orthodontic deep bite
- Oral hygiene and periodontal diseases in the orthodontic patient
- Periodontal considerations in orthodontic and orthopedic expansion
- Retention and relapse of rotated teeth
- Recession, attached gingiva, advancement of teeth, and the orthodontist's periodontal
exam
- Root resorption
- Crown contours
