D303/3-U.S.D.I. TREATMENT PROTOCOL

Description:

Although the U.S. Dental Institute opposes standardized treatment in favor of individualized treatment plans it recognized the need for a treatment protocol which reflects U.S.D.I. philosophy and mechanics.

This course considers the U.S.D.I. principles of mechanics of orthodontic treatment for every Class and subclass of malocclusions.  Each classification of malocclusion is evaluated to determine causal factors, probable treatment success, potential treatment mechanics, and treatment timing.  The course is intended to provide an outline for treatment planning and act as a guide to individual patient management.
