D235-BASIC DIAGNOSIS AND TREATMENT PLANNING

Description:

This course is designed to help the student learn to gather diagnostic information in an organized manner, edit it, and present it properly to meet the needs of the parents and patient, the doctor, and the insurance company.  Participants are also shown proper documentation to prevent and/or alleviate legal problems which might arise in the future.  The course will also include detailed reviews of several cases, including detailed analyses of the beginning records, how to efficiently diagnose each case and how to formulate a treatment plan, taking into account the important individual factors of each patient, which will affect the outcome of the case.

OBJECTIVE:

The student will be able to properly gather and utilize the information required for case diagnosis and treatment planning.
